This is my experiment in blogging about my trip to Southeast Asia. I'm starting in Singapore and will end up in Shanghai seven weeks from now. I plan to visit Borneo, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and possibly Laos in between.
I have nine hours till my flight from Los Angeles to Singapore via Tokyo.
I am amused that the airport code for Singapore is SIN. Singapore only lifted its ban on chewing gum in 2004.
